It’s A New Race, And It Could Be A Horror Beyond Imagining
The PenPo has stated that Obama will win the presidential election because McCain alienated the core of his party long ago. Sarah Palin is McCain’s way of reclaiming that vote. It probably worked.
While neither down nor out, Obama has taken some serious blows recently, and the GOP appears determined to keep slugging. The polls show a race much closer than it should be — Obama should be well ahead of McCain. Here is a list of the main reasons why The One is not in a commanding lead:
1. Obama has not dealt effectively with criticism. For example, there is not much he can say to Palin’s reminder that he talks to rural and small town folk politely, and then imperiously mocks and trivializes them when in the company of fellow “progressives.” The US voter does not appreciate elitist hypocrisy. Score a big one for Palin.
Then there’s the Surge. Obama was doctrinaire, blind, and oh, so wrong. The GOP can ask the voters to consider what things would be like in Iraq if Obama had been making policy.
2. McCain’s TV ads are particularly effective. He’s hired some real pros.
3. No longer can Obama run against George W. Bush. McCain has pulled the rug out from under his opponent, forcing him to run against McCain. Big change.
4. McCain is running against Congress, against tax increases, and for more drilling for oil. Obama cannot counter any of those points well. His choice of longtime insider Biden was a tactical mistake. In running against Congress, McCain has credibility, for he has the record in that body to prove he has always been floating upstream. The GOP has effectively countered Obama’s “Change” with “Reform.”
5. The vicious attacks on Palin (“…popped out a retard”) will backfire. Palin is hard to criticize — she’s very, very easy for women to identify with, for she’s had her share of family problems. Those do not count against her with decent folks. No, the FemiNazis and bitter, diehard Hillary partisans will not vote for Palin. But consider that true to form, the “progressives” have been quick to get filthy. The PenPo expected worse as soon as she appeared on the scene, though; so far, she has not been accused of sex with sled dogs. That is surprising, given the degenerate instincts of many on the far left.
6. Oprah. US magazine. Enough said.
Will McCain win? He just might.
Who wins is not, however, what the nation should be concerned about…
…for this could be the most horrible election campaign in US history.
Only weeks ago, some were suggesting that Obama is a prime target for assassination by a racist nutcase. While that danger is probably not diminished, consider the higher probability that Palin is the most attractive target for violence.
Truth: we are in a culture war.
A lot of confused and ignorant people believe that if McCain wins, their causes will be shattered. Roe vs. Wade, for example, will be reversed, making abortion illegal (not true at all, but then truth is the first victim in a propaganda campaign).
Palin is hated — really hated — for she symbolizes the failure of authoritarian feminism, and the triumph of individualist humanism. To millions in the USA, she is a genuine threat, a dagger at the throat of “progressive” causes. Because of her and her alone, the forced march to Utopia may be disbanded.
The “progressive” establishment has always had its thugs, eager to smash and burn; recall that Oswald was a self-made castroite communist. A woman (“Squeaky”) almost killed President Ford. Yes, the USA has a plethora of domestic would-be assassins.
Then there are the outsiders, too many of whom live in the USA. The nonentity who assassinated Robert Kennedy was a “Palestinian;” how do those people regard McCain and Palin? How many “Palestinians” are above murder?
Muslims of all stripes perceive McCain, with his military background and grim determination to push for victory, as their enemy. They consider Palin a whore who is even worse, because she may become president some day!
If Palin is not getting the maximum possible protection from the Secret Service, she certainly should.
Well. Never mind the aliens and Muslims. Set them aside for the moment, and consider this question: how can Obama put a leash on just the domestic “progressive” mad dogs who are determined to see him in the White House?
Answer: he can’t.
From the first, he has misjudged their nature. Remember what Ayers and Dohrn used to do to try to “improve” matters….
What The Heck Is A “Community Organizer,” Anyway?? And What Did Obama Do When He Was One?
Very conservative columnist/author/weblogger Michelle Malkin has a scornful post with good links on community organizers in general and Obama in particular. Malkin’s opinions may not be yours, but the information she conveys is helpful.

It appears that the humpback whale, the awesome acrobat of the oceans, may be on the road to recovery. Recent assessments for the IUCN Red List move this magnificent mammal from Vulnerable to Least Concern, meaning that it is now less threatened with extinction.

Long before Darwin was born, humanity was ruled by superstition. Men need not search for their origin because their religion provided them with the answers.
SPORE is a simulation game created by Will Wright (The SIMs) and EA that allows players to control various life forms from the cellular to the galactic level. It’s an epic journey that takes you from the origin and evolution of life through the development of civilization and technology and eventually all the way into the deepest reaches of outer space.
One of the enduring objections to evolution of the Darwinian variety is that it is based on chance, and so for theists who believe God is interventionist, it suggests that God is subjected to chance, and hence not onmi-something (present, potent or scient).

Dichloroacetate is not new to those who subscribed to the PenPo’s predecessor. It appears to be very effective against cancer, but research on it is lagging because it is not patented, cannot be patented, and is cheap to produce. It has side effects, some of them nasty. As nasty as cancer?
