The traditions of holy war and animus toward Jews are critical to our understanding of classical Islamic doctrine. Sharia, however, is the doctrine’s essence. It is Islam’s legal and political system. Its establishment is the necessary precondition for a society’s Islamization, and it is the objective of both violent jihad and stealthier methods of pressuring a society’s major institutions to bend to Islamic norms. Sharia is the animating force of classical Islam — its claim to ultimate truth.

Madness And Reality

The insanity can be traced back. Move from the recent specifics to earlier false but politically correct assumptions:

1. Obama’s stupid, stupid question: “Why did young men who grew up and studied here as part of our communities and our country resort to such violence?”

1-a. Why did they kill and maim? Because of the teachings of the death cult that is Islam.

1-b. The young men did not “grow up here”; they were the product of their violently fanatical environment in Chechnya.

1-c. They were never “part of our communities”; their values and aspirations are totally alien to the USA. The murderers had neither understanding of nor respect for Liberty. They understood only submission to the commandments they believed came from the creator of the universe and mankind.

1-d. Religious toleration is a fundamental value in the USA, yet it is a contradiction of Koranic teaching, which replaces it with submission.

2. Islamic immigrants to the West cannot acculturate without shedding their Islamic faith. This fact is denied by “progressive” and other political factions in the USA.

3. Fundamental changes in immigration law are called for. They will not be implemented because the logic behind them will be ignored.

Until it is understood that Muslims, by definition, consider the Koran the absolute and inerrant guide for man, the concept of “the moderate Muslim” will not be seen as an oxymoron.

Obama misleads the electorate when he claims that his order to assassinate Osama bin Laden somehow enhanced US security. The president’s priorities, to put it charitably, are irrational; he does not recognize the enemy, and he mistakes vengeance for effective military action.

The Islamic threat proceeds from faith.

That threat manifests itself in two weapons: violence (irrationally called “terrorism”), and colonialism. Colonialism is Islam’s demographic weapon; it is by far the more powerful of the two.

Those who fail to grasp these truths cannot lead the West wisely, and their blundering will only prolong the violence and enhance the effectiveness of Islamic colonialism.

The most effective defense against Islam will always be quarantine.

Military responses to Islamic expansion can be temporarily helpful, but only in so far as they convince some jihadis that violence is futile. Ultimately, the military can only act as a propaganda organ, convincing Western populations that something is being done, some results are being obtained, and the struggle to survive Islam’s challenge is not hopeless.

In the final analysis, Western armies and navies and atomic bombs are very much like the Wizard of Oz. They produce entertainment and inspire irrational conceptions about the exegeses of reality.

The current challenge to the West is nothing whatsoever like the global wars of the twentieth century. It is only superficially and trivially similar to the conflict between communist and free nations.

Understanding the nature of the Islamist threat is hardly possible for contemporary strategists, and intellectually challenged leaders like Obama can only hinder effective efforts to defend the West.

Secretary of State Kerry is not proving to be a disappointment. He’s doing exactly as expected: poorly and stupidly. Update: well, he’s got one thing right — namely, the fact that he does not want to talk about Benghazi!

Related: Darryl Issa does want to talk about Benghazi, fortunately, and he may come up with a suitable response to Hillary’s scornful sneer, “What difference at this point does it make?”

How in the world could President Obama fail to get the firearms restrictions he wanted? Here’s how.

Here’s an instance of tax dollars at work, bringing you the news you need. Bizarre…. And: click on the word “here” at the bottom of the last paragraph in the brief text. That takes you to solid evidence of journalistic bias.

Obamacare will be a malign imposition. Now meet the guy to thank for that.

Pamela Geller is not a hatemonger.

Sometimes it’s “the Jewish lobby”, sometimes it’s “the Israel lobby”, and all the time it’s “the gun lobby”. The press never hammers unions, physicians, public employee organizations or retired folks’ AARP as hard as it clobbers the Jews and the shooters. And, sad to say, former US representative Gifford, a gunshot survivor, has just delivered herself of a tirade that should embarrass her. Naturally she claims the “gun lobby” has the Senate in thrall. Her politically correct and trendy argument is fallacious and inaccurate.

Ponder this: “If the pro-gun-control official cited in Politico is right, the current government sequester is working — Washington has less money for bribes.” (Source.) For an administration to pay senators to vote for bills the president favors is not just corruption — it’s routine corruption.

And the politicians throwin’ stones
So the kids they dance
And shake their bones
And it’s all too clear we’re on our own
Singin’ ashes, ashes, all fall down
Ashes, ashes, all fall down
