…there is no moral, philosophical, or constitutional basis for the proposition that political majorities are “entitled” to rule simply because they are majorities.
Will Hillary Withdraw?
A rational examination of the facts proves that Hillary is an accomplished serial liar who cannot be trusted with the secrets of her nation’s government (see the first “Ordinary Link” below). If she were not greedy and power-hungry, she would immediately withdraw from public life. Her blunders and falsehoods have revealed her — but not humiliated her.
The root of the problem is that the elites know the public will not hold them responsible. Comey, for example, knows his agents will not resign en masse if he does not step down at once, and Hillary knows her voters will not abandon her.
The USA has exactly the ruling class it deserves.
Until the voters decide they have had enough lies and malfeasance, things can only get worse.
The Only Accurate View Of Hillary’s Email Imbroglio
This, as John Podhoretz writes (quoting Andrew C. McCarthy) in Commentary, is what matters:
The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing. The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant. People never intend the bad things that happen due to gross negligence.
Beyond that manifest truth lies a metaphorical swamp.
